Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?\nYOUR ROLE\nThe Internal Audit (IA) Senior is responsible for performing audit engagements (financial, operational, compliance, and SOX audits), including procedures over planning, risk assessment, test work, workpapers, audit conclusions, and reporting.\nRESPONSABILITIES:\nPrepare audit workpapers in accordance with Internal Audit Standards\nSummarize audit findings and develop clear, concise, and value-added audit observations\nIdentify control gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement\nEvaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls\nMaintain effective communications with client management\nEffectively handle special assignments on diverse audit projects\nMaintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high energy level, influencing and motivating team members\nExhibit teamwork skills and abilities and promote quality\nExhibit characteristics of professional excellence through continuing professional education\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting, financial, and Audit\nAt least 2 years with public accounting firm\nRemainder in internal audit for large multi-national company\nBachelor’s degree required in Accounting/Business/Economics or other relevant subject\nKnowledge in CTPAT and AEO requirements\nMaster’s degree (preferred)\nCertifications preferred: CPA or CIA\nLanguage Competency: Advanced English required, fluent verbally and written\nAbility to travel regionally and internationally up to 25%\nHigh level of analytical ability and problem-solving skills\nKnowledge of audit methods and techniques\nKnowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and requirements\nEffective and concise business writing skills\nHigh level interpersonal skills to work effectively with audit team members and clients\nProficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint\nExperience in use of the Workiva online tool platform and Electronic Work Papers (preferred)\nSAP experience (preferred)\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
