Do not just be a part of the ride, help rewrite the rules of mobility.\nYour role\nDesign, simulate, implement, and test ADAS algorithms using C++.\nCollaborate with systems engineers to support the creation and break-down of requirements and test cases. \nDevelop technical specifications and DFMEAs.\nCollaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure proper feature functionality.\nProactively identify and contribute to changes that help the product progress along its roadmap. \nAnalyse defects and test results to ensure KPI achievement by root causing the issues and designing algorithm improvements.\nWork with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issues.\nComplete assigned individual and team tasks.\nYour Background\nBachelor’s degree in engineering - Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related technical field.\nExperience with State Estimation and advanced filtering methods.\n4+ years of programming experience in development and testing of algorithms in C++\nStrong background in control theory & systems design\nExcellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong sense of ownership for your assigned tasks.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s or Batchelor's degree in engineering - Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related technical field.\n6+ years of programming experience in development and testing of algorithms in: C++.\nAppropriate and optimized use of AI Tools for overall efficiency of your workflow.\nSuperior communication & presentation skills\nBackground in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusion, working knowledge of ADAS.\nISO 26262 / Functional Safety functional expertise\nWhy Join Aptiv\nYou grow at Aptiv.\nAptiv's winning culture is global by design.
