Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?\nYOUR ROLE\nAs the SMT Engineering Leader, will be responsible for lead and optimizing SMT processes, ensuring process stability, quality performance, and continuous improvement across production lines. The job provides high visibility inside manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams.\nRESPONSABILITIES:\nValidate SMT process parameters (printing, placement, reflow)\n\nSupervise and lead manufacturing engineering group\n\nSupport new part number launching, validation, product transfers, components validations\n\nAnalyze SPI/AOI data and implement process improvements focus con solder paste printing process\n\nCoordinate communication with external teams, close contact with APTIV SMT teams worldwide, MTT (manufacturing technology team)\n\nLead SMT internal and external audit\n\nManage engineering resources to effectively support FTQ, CT, scrap and CPH improvement activities\n\nLead cost reduction & quality improvement activities for all Projects, apply Problem Solving tools as needed\n\nEnsure effective communications of New Product related information with customers (project team, operations, supervisor, & implementation team)\n\nStay current with all Policies, Procedures, and Design Standards\n\nResponsible for forecast, selection, implementation of new equipment\n\nResponsible for SMT capacity analysis and report to MTT\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronic, Mechatronic) or related field\n\n5+ years of experience in SMT manufacturing leadership\n\nAdvanced English\n\nStrong knowledge of SMT processes and equipment\n\nExperience with paste application, placement SPI, AOI, and reflow profiling\n\nKnowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610)\n\nExperience with statistical analysis (Cp, Cpk, SPC)\n\nLeadership experience managing technical and development teams\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience in new products launch and product transfers\n\nSix Sigma or Lean Manufacturing knowledge\n\nAdvanced problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why's)\n\nExperience with SMT equipment brands (ASM preferred)\n\nStrong communication and leadership skills\n\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
