This is how we enable sustainable mobility and help to prevent accidents caused by human error.\nSoftware Architect - C++ / ADAS Resimulation\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Software Architect to define and develop the technical architecture of C++-based resimulation platforms and large-scale ADAS analysis solutions.\nThis is a hands-on architecture and development role. The Architect will define scalable software architectures while actively designing, developing, debugging and optimizing critical C++ components, frameworks and applications. The role requires strong system-level thinking without moving away from hands-on software development.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine the software architecture and technical roadmap for ADAS resimulation and analysis platforms.\nActively design, develop and optimize production-quality C++ software, particularly core and architecture-critical components.\nArchitect scalable, modular and maintainable solutions for large-scale ADAS resimulation.\nDefine software components, interfaces, APIs, data flows and reusable frameworks.\nDesign and implement solutions for Linux, HPC, cloud and distributed computing environments.\nDrive architecture decisions around performance, scalability, reliability, testability and maintainability.\nPerform hands-on debugging, profiling, optimization and root-cause analysis of complex software/system issues.\nLead technical design and architecture reviews and guide Team Leads and engineers on complex implementation topics.\nPrototype and evaluate new technologies and drive modernization/refactoring of existing solutions.\nCollaborate across ADAS, validation, infrastructure and product teams and mentor senior engineers.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Robotics or related discipline.\n10-12 years of overall Software Engineering experience, including significant software architecture/design experience.\nMinimum 8 years of hands-on C++ software development experience, with expert-level modern C++ proficiency.\nProven experience architecting and developing large-scale, modular and performance-critical software systems.\nStrong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, concurrency, multithreading and memory management.\nStrong Linux development, debugging, profiling and performance-optimization expertise.\nExperience designing HPC, cloud, parallel or distributed computing solutions.\nExperience defining APIs, interfaces, component architectures and data-processing frameworks.\nAbility to provide architectural leadership while remaining actively involved in software development.\nStrong technical communication, analytical and system-level problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong experience in ADAS, Automated Driving, automotive software or resimulation.\nExperience with camera, radar or LiDAR data and large-scale automotive datasets.\nExperience developing reusable platforms, frameworks, SDKs or developer tooling.\nFamiliarity with containerization, CI/CD and embedded/automotive development environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in ADAS, Automated Driving, automotive software or resimulation.\nExperience with camera, radar or LiDAR data and large automotive datasets.\nFamiliarity with embedded systems and automotive software development.\nWhy join us?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where all individuals can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity or beliefs.\nYou can have an impact.
