This is how we enable sustainable mobility and help to prevent accidents caused by human error.\nSoftware Engineering Team Lead - C++ / ADAS Resimulation\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to lead a team developing C++-based resimulation solutions, applications and automation for large-scale ADAS analysis.\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership role combining software development, team leadership and delivery ownership. The Team Lead will actively design, develop, debug, test and optimize C++ software alongside the team, while guiding engineers, driving execution and ensuring software quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nActively design, develop, debug, test and optimize production-quality C++ software for ADAS resimulation and analysis.\nLead and technically guide a team of software engineers while continuing to contribute directly to development.\nOwn technical execution and delivery of resimulation features, applications and releases.\nDrive software design, code reviews, debugging, root-cause analysis and performance optimization.\nDevelop scalable Linux-based applications and automation for HPC and/or cloud environments.\nDrive engineering best practices for clean code, modularity, maintainability, testability and performance.\nSupport resimulation-based analysis of ADAS perception, sensor processing and control algorithms on large-scale datasets.\nMentor engineers, improve technical competency and resolve complex technical issues.\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Architects, ADAS developers, validation and platform teams.\nDrive continuous improvement, automation and engineering productivity.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics or related discipline.\n10-12 years of overall Software Engineering experience.\nMinimum 8 years of hands-on C++ software development experience, with strong knowledge of modern C++.\nStrong experience developing large-scale, production-quality C++ applications or frameworks.\nStrong Linux application development, debugging and performance optimization experience.\nStrong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading and software architecture.\nExperience technically leading software engineers while remaining hands-on with development.\nExperience with software development lifecycle, testing, CI/CD and software quality practices.\nExperience with HPC, cloud, parallel or distributed computing environments.\nStrong problem-solving, technical communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in ADAS, Automated Driving, automotive software or resimulation.\nExperience with camera, radar or LiDAR data and large automotive datasets.\nFamiliarity with embedded systems and automotive software development.\nWhy join us?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where all individuals can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity or beliefs.\nYou can have an impact.
