You will manage customer communication, requirements, and expectations throughout the product development lifecycle.\nYour Role\nDesign, develop, and validate new products and technology\n\nEnsure that system features and deliverables are completed on time per Aptiv quality standards\n\nFollow APTIV design standards, guidelines, best practices, procedures and policies\n\nLead feature definition and requirement reviews\n\nEnsure the logical and systematic transformation of requirements into a total system solution\n\nContribute to requirement analysis, system architecture, and feature integration / verification\n\nConvert customer requirements into product requirements and design specification\n\nEnsure proper development, execution and verification across all engineering competencies\n\nResponsible to lead technical discussions, design reviews and customer presentations\n\nDevelop innovative and creative solutions to unique engineering challenges\n\nManage and track system features to ensure high quality delivery on-time\n\nDrive process, procedure, and methodology improvements to optimize and continuously improve work efficiency\n\nYour Background\nBachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (mechatronics, electrical, or related field of study)\n\n5+ years professional experience in Consumer Electronics or Automotive Industry\n\nInterpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge\n\nCross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity\n\nAbility to effectively manage several projects at once\n\nStrong soft skills: skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profile\n\nFamiliarity with Functional Safety or Cybersecurity knowledge/background\n\nFamiliarity with system development processes (Automotive SPICE) and tools\n\nExperience with vehicle protocols and diagnostics\n\nExperience with embedded hardware and serial communication tools\n\nSystem Architecture knowledge.\n\nFamiliarity with ADAS ECU, Body Control Modules or similar.\n\nGather, analyze, and document business, customer, and system requirements, translating them into clear, testable specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\n\nCollaborate with Product Management, Architects, Hardware, Software, and Validation teams throughout the product development lifecycle.\n\nDrive requirements review, change management, traceability, and impact analysis.\n\nExperience with vehicle communication protocols and diagnostics (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, etc.).\n\nNice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):\nMaster’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, electrical, or related field of study)\n\nExperience with low level drivers - SPI, I2C, and/or Ethernet drivers\n\nExperience working on global project\n\nExperience working in an agile development team and with agile tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)\n\nWhy join Aptiv\nYou grow at Aptiv.\n\nAptiv's winning culture is global by design.
