Java Microservices Engineer - Agentic AI

Connect enterprise applications with agentic AI solutions by working with AI engineers to expose enterprise capabilities through secure APIs, build orchestration layers, and integrate AI agents with backend systems, databases, and business services.

Responsibilities:

• Understand existing Java enterprise applications, microservices, APIs, and business workflows.
• Develop and enhance Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Expose enterprise capabilities through secure APIs for AI agents.
• Integrate agentic AI solutions with backend applications, databases, and business services.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to build API orchestration layers and tool interfaces.
• Develop integrations using Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Contribute to system design and architecture discussions.
• Support the scalability, security, reliability, and performance of AI-enabled systems.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of overall professional experience, including 1-3 years of directly relevant hands-on experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development skills with experience in microservices architecture.
• Experience designing REST APIs, orchestration layers, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Working knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
• Proficiency with Git and Docker.
• Understanding of agentic AI, LLMs, and AI workflows.

Nice To Have:

• Exposure to LangGraph or LangChain.
• Basic knowledge of Python and FastAPI.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications with AI platforms.
