Project Engineer AM - Serial Production (m/f/d)

Your Mission

• End-to-end responsibility for AM customer orders from quotation preparation, external supplier inquiries to order processing
• Support in planning and production control
• Ongoing optimization of series-related processes
• Interface to all functions in the company and contact person for the respective projects
• Evaluation of customer inquiries regarding feasibility and risks in consultation with your team
• Business case calculations
• Active customer communication and support, escalation management and identification of sales opportunities and support of sales colleagues
• Project presentations including internal or external presentations of results at customer sites

  Your profile

  • Successful completion of engineering studies (B.Sc., M.Sc. or M.Eng.), alternatively a comparable technical qualification e.g. tothat of an industrial technician/master or similar
• 2-3 relevant years of professional experience in project management in different industries
• You work independently, structured and are customer- and goal-oriented
• You have prior knowledge of additive manufacturing
• You appreciate dealing with customers, think pragmatically and solution-oriented
• Initial practical experience in dealing with common AM/CAE tools (preferably EOS Print, Materialize MAGICs, CATIA V5, Netfabb) is an advantage
• Your strengths include a high quality awareness, technical creativity, commitment, ability to work in a team and enthusiasm for innovations
• Your are fluent in German and have very good knowledge of spoken and written English
