The Project Superintendent ensures quality and cost controls on each project, while ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client's needs through direction of daily operations. This individual needs to have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nResponsible for oversight of all field operations on your projects\nResponsible for coordinating, directing, and supervising the quality of work and direct labor\nCoordinating materials and equipment needed\nEnsure that the requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control and cost control\nResolve site issues that may be out of the control of the project managers\nManaging multiple projects concurrently\nDirecting the work of each foreman and crew under you, according to owner, GC and architect requirements\nMentoring and managing project foreman through the life of a project\nMaintaining consistent and effective communication with all team members including leadership of on-site crew discussions\nResponsibility for your project field cost controls\nQuickly and professionally resolving all issues that may arise with the project on the jobsite and notifying the appropriate parties\nActing as a point of contact between vendors and owners/GC throughout job scope, communicating effectively on a day-to-day basis to ensure the delivery of excellent projects\nEnsuring minimal impact on the jobsite and a zero-punch list through continual communication with field employees\nOwning the job by, consistently reviewing plans, drawings, specifications, and communicating with all team members\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation/Experience\n3+ years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar position in construction management\nValid driver's license\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAbility to read, understand and implement project plans and documents\nAbility to multitask and exercise independent judgment related to the daily administration of projects\nProven communication skills; both written and verbal\nAptitude to anticipate problems and identify solutions\nAbility to communicate highly detailed information between project managers, foreman, field crew, subcontractors, and architects/engineers\nAble to work in a team environment and foster positive and professional relationships\nHighly organized and disciplined\nKnowledge of construction related equipment and proper use\nPhysical Requirements\nRequired to sit for long periods of time; stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop.\nEnvironment\nWork is performed indoors (job-site trailer/office) and outdoors (construction site).
