Learn more at www.aquatech.com.\nAquatech has an immediate need for a full-time PE (Project Engineer) to work in our Houston location. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Project Engineer will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee. The ideal candidate will have excellent math skills, applied creativity, mechanical skills, problem-solving skills, team-oriented, customer service driven, and attention to detail. This candidate should also have experience in a project-related industry.\n Job Description\nReview and understand customer technical specifications relating to Water treatment plant. \nProvide general project management support to the project manager and the team. \nShould have knowledge about pumps, tanks, pressure vessels, piping, valves, instruments, \nMonitor compliance with applicable codes, standards, practices, and specifications. \nPrepare the necessary proposal documents / project documents. \nFacilitate timely engineering reviews of vendor quotes. \nReview vendor quotes and purchase requisitions for compliance to project specifications. \nPeriodic vendor visits to monitor the progress \nCreate and maintain Project Master document list \nCo-ordinate the internal Engineering activities within different offices of Aquatech and with external \nengineering agency and Site Contractors \nCoordinate engineering responses to RFI from subcontractors \nCoordinate initial document submissions, address customer comments, timely resubmission of revised documents, and closure to achieve approved status. \nCo-ordinate collection of necessary inputs to 3D model and resolution of issue tags. \nFollow up on Project action items to ensure timely closure. \nAttend and distribute minutes for internal and customer meetings as required. \nCreate and distribute monthly Project Team updates. \nProvide status, control, and progress reporting support services on projects. \nPrepare project schedules in MS Projects or Primavera P6 per project requirement \nVerify the project progress & prepare the monthly progress report \nSupport correspondence with customers via the Project Manager. \nTravel to visit vendors, job sites, or attend meetings with customer as and when required. \nCompile the RFB for EPC Contractors \nCompile the proposal / project documents required for client submission. \nWork autonomously without constant guidance. \n30% of Travel (International and Domestic) will be required \nSkill Requirements\nAble to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical \nproblems. \nInterpreting specifications related to engineering equipment. \nAttention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills. \nDecision-making ability and leadership skills. \nTime management and organizational skills. \nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. \nAbility to read and interpret AutoCAD engineering drawings and P&IDs. \nAble to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. \nAbility to communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive attitude. \nAbility to work with multiple disciplined projects. \nAbility to plan and manage multiple tasks or projects with attention to detail. \nAbility to use SAP software. \nAbility to use MS Office software at a high level of proficiency. \nAbility to navigate the 3D model through Navisworks \nAbility to use MS Projects and Primavera P6. \nExperience in using estimating software ASPEN is an advantage.\nQualifications\n Minimum Qualifications / Experience\nBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)\nTen (10) years of experience in a project-related industry preferred\nPrior water/wastewater infrastructure project experience
