Learn more atwww.aquatech.com\nAquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Project Engineer to work in our Canonsburg, PA office. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee.\nThe ideal candidate will have excellent math skills, applied creativity, mechanical skills, problem-solving skills, team-oriented, customer service driven, and attention to detail. This candidate will also have experience in a project-related industry.\nJob Description\nReview of Project specifications\nPreparation of Project documents\nMaintain the Project Master document list.\nLead project design coordination with internal engineering departments, external engineering agencies, and Site Contractors.\nCoordinate engineering document submissions to customers & vendors.\nFacilitate timely engineering reviews of vendor quotes.\nReview vendor quotes and purchase requisitions for compliance with project specifications.\nResponsible for accurately reporting engineering progress into the project schedule.\nCoordinate collection of necessary inputs to 3D model and resolution of issue tags.\nProvide status, control, and progress reporting support services on projects.\nPrepare project schedules per project requirement.\nVerify the project progress & prepare the monthly progress report.\nVendor follow-up & expediting\nPeriodic vendor visits to monitor the progress.\nAttend Customer meetings as required.\nSupport correspondence with customers via the Project manager.\nInternal communication with all departments & AIC Assembly shop.\nTrack material status in SAP & update project status\nPreparation of packing slips & related shipment documentation\nSite visits during the construction phase\nCoordinate engineering responses to RFI from subcontractors\nExpedite critical engineering solutions during the construction phase.\nEnsure design changes are properly communicated to the project team and incorporated into the 3D model.\nOversee as-built documentation for the project.\nWork autonomously without constant guidance\n10% International and Domestic travel will be required.\nSkill Requirements:\nAble to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.\nTime management and organizational skills.\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.\nAbility to read and interpret AutoCAD engineering drawings and P&IDs.\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive attitude.\nAbility to work with multiple disciplined projects.\nAbility to plan and manage multiple tasks or projects with attention to detail.\nAbility to use MS Office software at a high level of proficiency.\nAbility to use SAP.\nAbility to use Primavera P6 preferred.\nExperience using AutoCAD 2D and Plant 3D preferred.\nBenefits:\nAquatech offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, company-paid holidays, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).\nEssential Functions:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
