This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and machinery to produce high-quality fabricated productsKey Responsibilities:\nKnowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental aspect and Risk related to inspection activities on Machines and during Assembly\nInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fitting requirements.\nAssemble and fit metal parts by aligning, grinding, and adjusting components to ensure proper fit.\nMark, measure, and cut materials accurately before assembly.\nUse hand tools, power tools, gas cutting and machinery such as grinders, drills, and fitting equipment.\nAssist in welding preparation and ensure parts are correctly positioned prior to welding.\nInspect assembled components for defects or misalignment and make necessary adjustments.\nCollaborate with fabrication and welding teams to meet project deadlines.\nMaintain tools and equipment in good working order.\nOperate grinding machine to prepare chamfering of parts.\nLean approach likes 5s, TPM, Kaizen etc. and maintain safe & clean workplace\nMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety\nApproach daily work with continuous improvement in mind, working to continuously develop and improve department practices to reduce cycle time, improve machine availability and efficiency, and lower operating costs.\nFollow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work area.\nQualifications:\nITI fitter / Diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred\nProven experience as a Heavy Fabrication Fitter.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.\nSkilled in measuring, marking, grinding, gas cutting and fitting metal parts.\nCompetent with hand and power tools.\nGood mechanical aptitude and physical stamina.\nAttention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of safety procedures in a fabrication or workshop environment.\nPreferred Skills:\n5 to 8years of experience in Heavy fabrication or Pressure Vessel Fabrication.\nFamiliarity with quality control processes.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nJoin us and work with global teams to support global customers !
