He/she will be part of a team and will provide analysis of materials information and the synthesis and curation of materials knowledge resources to support business resilience.\nResponsibilities\nAs the Materials Engineer, you will:\nProvide materials support to Products and Services.\nIssue and check technical reports.\nParticipate in cost reduction activities related to material streamlining and harmonization of legacy specifications.\nMaintain positive interfaces with other technical disciplines.\nMaintain positive interfaces with projects in Products and Services.\nMaintain a positive technical interface with the manufacturing network in Arabelle Solutions and external suppliers in charge of the components manufacturing.\nProvide feedback experience to the group (feedback meetings with suppliers and internal feedback reports).\nSupport the investigation and resolution of technical issues related to materials manufacturing and performance.\nRequired Competences\nEducation\nBEng / BSc in Materials Engineering or Materials Engineering (post graduate qualifications are desirable)\nExperience\nPost graduate experience in an engineering metallurgy role, preferably related to high alloy steels is necessary.\nExperience of literature review and knowledge synthesis is required.\nBehavioural and/or Technical Know-how\nDemonstrated background in metallurgy, particularly metallurgy of steels.\nDemonstrated background in knowledge management of materials.\nFundamentals of non-destructive testing.\nRigorous and processes oriented.\nStrong interpersonal and team leadership skills.\nCapable of working autonomously.\nPossess a development mindset - seeks to grow knowledge and ability.\nJoin us and work with global teams to support global customers !
