Guided by safety and integrity in all we do, we take ownership of our actions and results.\nScope\nLocation / Country: Noida / India\nOrganizational Unit: Nuclear P&L / Engineering / Systems / Electrical\nPosition title: Engineer-Electrical Equipment and Systems\nReporting to (Line): Engineering Manager- Electrical Components\nReporting to (Functional): Project Lead Engineer\nResponsibilities\nFollowing minimum activities are expected to be performed by this position:\nConceptualizing and preparing electrical Single Line Diagrams(SLDs).\n\nSystem study like Load flow, short circuit study, load balance using ETAP tool.\n\nMotor starting study for the HV and MV system.\n\nElectrical protection system design including tripping matrix.\n\nCT/VT sizing calculations.\n\nMV/LV switchgear design and circuitry.\n\nCable sizing, cable lists, Termination charts preparation.\n\nProviding technical replies to clients/consultants/vendors and responsible for correctness of the documents.\n\nRepresent engineering scope of supply and services to the project team and towards the customers and suppliers.\n\nPreparation/checking of RFQ specifications for electrical components in tender/Project execution stage according to project specific requirements.\n\nReview of vendor offers, preparation/review of TTAs.\n\nReview of post order vendor docs/data sheets.\n\nInterface as necessary to execute his/her allocated task, with the other disciplines i.e. Process, Mechanical, Civil etc.\n\nAlert the Electrical Project Engineer(s) and his/her Line Manager of unexpected difficulties encountered during work.\n\nParticipate in design review and design freeze meeting and ensure the corrective actions defined by the design review are closed on time.\n\nSupport in claim negotiations and preparation of relevant document and facts.\n\nReview and follow-up of the documentation of his/her scope of work.\n\nGive technical support to the site Team during Erection and Commissioning of Electrical Equipment\n\nShare return of experience from ongoing projects for benefit of other projects.\n\nPrepare/arrange as-built documentation and participate in archiving final documentation.\n\nJob Specifics\nThis position requires some short travels abroad/ within India to interface with Customers, Partners, Suppliers, Site…\n\nAuthority\nArea(s) where the position holder is the decision maker\nObtain on-time decisions from the Electrical Project Engineer or Line Manager\n\nRight to receive on-time comprehensive and binding information relevant for the task to be performed from the functions involved in the project(s)\n\nReceive technical support from the Electrical Project Engineer and Line Manager\n\nAccess to technical tools and corresponding support as well as specialists’ know-how\n\nArea(s) where the position holder provides recommendations\nAlert other design Engineers of incoherencies or incorrect design he/she may discover during his/her work.\n\nTo advise his/her Line Manager about improvement of standard documentation and tools.\n\n Key performance Indicators\nThe performance of the Electrical Engineer is measured against the successful execution of the project(s) task(s) he/she has to realize in term of quality and on-time delivery.\nIn addition, performance is measured on his/her capacity to interact with other disciplines: smooth interface with Mechanical Partner, Civil Partner, Site Construction Team etc. and on his/her capacity to coordinate with engineering performed in other Engineering Centers or external Design Offices.\nFurther objectives, Targets and Performance Measurements are defined on a yearly basis.\nRequired Competences\nEducation\nMandatory (MUST)\nElectrical Engineering Degree with 5-7 years of experience in relevant areas.\n\nExperience\nMandatory (MUST)\nExperience of electrical engineering in power/industrial projects in the related activity.\n\nKnowledge of National & International codes and standard like IS, IEC, IEEE.\n\nAbility to handle the turnkey packages of electrical equipment and systems.\n\nAbility to work independently.\n\nStrong intercultural skills and abilities of managing global processes & procedures.\n\nTeam player, collaborative.\n\nDesirable (NICE TO HAVE)\nExperience of electrical engineering in the related activity for Power Plants\n\nExposure to electrical erection & commissioning field.\n\nExperience in Nuclear power plant.\n\nExperience of working in global multinational environment.\n\nLanguage skills\nMandatory (MUST)\nStrong ability to communicate verbally and in written English.\n\nWhat we offer:\nAn international and dynamic environment, committed to a sustainable future\nA collaborative corporate culture focused on expertise In India, our presence spans Sanand (Gujarat), Noida (Uttar Pradesh), and Bengaluru (Karnataka), where our teams drive advanced manufacturing, precision engineering, and cutting-edge project delivery-underpinn by our commitment to safety, integrity, and sustainability.
