Shall acquire the respective authorization/training before performing an activity.\n· Ensure that all Contract workers are performing the assigned activity safely while working with you or nearby area.\n· Knowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental aspect and risk related to activities of Generator Rotor Assembly.\nUnderstanding of nuclear safety culture and ITNS-I & A (Important To Nuclear Safety- Item & Activity).\nReview and understanding of machining documents like MOPs, SOPs, drawings, KSL and FMEAs.\nPerform rotor set up on roller for turning operations and precise quality measurements as per instructions & requirements.\nPerform D-lead brazing & Assembly operation, Lead Assembly into rotor & connection assembly, rotor half coil assembly with brazing of joints, UT inspection of brazed joints, inter-turn insulation assembly, Slot Wedge assembly, Hot Curing of Winding, Retaining Ring Insulation Assembly, manual drilling- tapping, grinding, shrink fitting of Retaining ring & other shrink fit components, hot work and deburring.\nMonitoring of production, adjusting appropriate setting of tool-tackles.\nKnowledge of usage of measuring instruments, error check & its application and usage of electrical instruments for rotor winding testing.\nKnowledge of manual & power tools & its application, trouble shooting of conventional machine.\nFamiliar with Chemical handling & chemical storage, able to interpret MSDS related to associated chemicals.\nLean approach likes 5S, Kaizen etc and maintain safe & clean workplace.\nTeamwork and Coordination with fellow operator team & cross functional team for uninterrupted Production.\nSupport other machine shop team & assembly team.\nJoin us and work with global teams to support global customers !
