Shall acquire the respective authorization/training before performing an activity.\nEnsure that all Contract workers are performing the assigned activity safely while working with you or nearby area.\nKnowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental Impact & aspect and risk related to activities of Machine shop.\nUnderstanding of nuclear safety culture and ITNS-I & A (Important To Nuclear Safety- Item & Activity)\nReview and understanding of machining documents like MOPs, SOPs, drawings, KSL, program files, Tool sheets and FMEAs.\nFollow TPM procedures likes AM checklist and involvement in PM activities.\nKnowledge Casing components & operating of CNC Milling machine.\nPerform job set up & offset, Tool set up & offset and precise quality measurements as per instructions & requirements.\nPerform set up and machining of ITNS-I nuclear HP valve, execution of ITNS- Activity and technical check of ITNS-A as per procedures and requirements.\nPerform other nuclear casing & parts machining, parting plane holes machining, Gland bore machining, taper pin holes, parting plane machining, drilling, tapping, thread milling, boring,\nkey slot machining, stator frame machining, Casing roughing and pipe machining.\nMonitoring of production, adjusting feed & appropriate machine setting.\nKnowledge of usage of measuring instruments, error check & its application.\nKnowledge of cutting tools & its application, trouble shooting of machine and understanding of CNC program & manual program.\nLean approach likes 5s, TPM, Kaizen etc and maintain safe & clean workplace.\nTeamwork and Coordination with fellow operator team & cross functional team for uninterrupted Production.\nSupport other machine team & assembly team.\nBasic Qualifications(requirements):\nITI- machinist / Diploma in Mechanical engineering\nMin 5-year experience in Machining of Casing and rotary parts (Turbine/Generator)\nBasic computer skills\nDesired Qualifications:\nDemonstrated integrity accept and adhere to high ethical, moral, and personal values in\ndecisions, communications, and actions when dealing with others\nLean Mindset and understanding of lean tool.
