You’ll be part of a team that work very closely with the manufacturing and are responsible for assigned projects within the Service Centre. As a Project Manager you are responsible for accepting and planning demands and to ensure that the execution team has all required materials to meet the agreed customer technical queries (CTQ’s). You will manage projects from start to finish working collaboratively with various departments across the business.\nKey Responsibilitie s\nCoordinate between Fulfilment Cells and Optimization to ensure demands are executed to the agreed CTQ’s \nPlan materials to support execution per agreed CTQ's \nMaintain data integrity in our current system in relation to job status, critical dates, availability/assignment of project materials \nEnsure accurate and timely updates to Optimization and other stakeholders \nCoordinate projects spanning multiple production Cells \nTrack & trend metrics illustrating performance in support of Cell(s) \nLiaise with Sourcing and peers globally to manage material needs\nDrive accountability within fulfilment team to execute to plan\nOwns job cost review/pacing rhythm to support production and drive accountability to execute relative to as-quoted costs \nActively uphold Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines, supporting both general and company standards.\nQualifications and Experience\nDemonstratable experience in a manufacturing project-based role.\nExperience in an industrial manufacturing environment\nStrong project management skills with the ability to drive projects forward.\nExcellent communication skills across a variety of formats and the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with stakeholders and customers at all levels.\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to nurture and coordinate multiple work streams simultaneously.\nDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively and self-direct within defined responsibilities, following review schedules and processes.\nDesired Characteristics\nKnowledge of Lean and/or alternative continuous improvement methods\nFamiliarity or experience with steam turbines and generator industrial manufacturing.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Excel (such as 4 Box Reporting).\nCommercial awareness and familiarity with project financials.\nThis work is undertaken with UK Defence customers which will require any individual applying for the role to hold or be capable of getting SC Level clearance as a UK Passport Holder. Applicants not cleared will not be accepted into the business until this clearance is provided.
