Diversity and an inclusive mindset makes us and our business stronger.\nSenior Operational Excellence & Lean Leader\nReports To: Process Improvement & Lean Leader\nLocation: Rugby Facility\nTravel Requirement: Up to 20%\nAs our Senior Operation Excellence Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operation and coordination along Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of the Services Operations Organization in Rugby, as well as harmonized standard work and daily management rhythm adhering to defined Business Processes and their further improvement. You will create and help implement the LEAN vision for the Manufacturing part, with the goals of reducing losses (7 Muda) and deploying the Lean culture. This involves strong interaction with all stakeholders on the production sites (from operators to the factory manager).\nYour responsibility will be to lead, build and enable service wing-to-wing capabilities for the regions to execute outages and upgrade projects and use LEAN to improve Services processes and tools. You will be responsible for the direction (Lean Roadmaps), execution (improvements plans), and coaching of Arabelle Solutions Services Organization in Rugby.\nYou will drive improvement in SQDC aligned with both the annual goals as well as the Lean Objectives of reducing lead time, and problem solving, designing and implementing Daily Management System.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and execute the lean transformation within Arabelle Solutions to achieve operating goals using KPI-based performance management for Repair Shop sites of Rugby, including Naval (UK Defense) scope.\nCoach and collaborate with all levels of the organization and functions including operators, support staff, and the leadership team to help progress our lean culture and drive continuous improvement.\nBe an advocate of Kaizen and facilitate Kaizen events to drive improvements using Pull, Kanban, Standard Work, 5S and Single-Piece Flow.\nTeach, promote, and practice the Systematic Approach to Lean and build Kaizen capability.\nImplement daily management process including daily management meetings, Gemba walks and Kata coaching cycles.\nCoach teams using the Kata process to drive daily rapid experiments and problem solving in a systematic way.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma with extensive experience in Manufacturing/Assembly industries\nManagement experience across Manufacturing, Operations, and/or Lean disciplines.\nFluent English communication skills, with a collaborative and transparent interpersonal style.\nProven experience successfully guiding Lean transformations and a comprehensive understanding of Lean principles, methodologies, and tools.\nDesired Characteristics\nWorking knowledge or experience with the S4 Hana (SAP) ERP system.\nAbility to influence without direct authority.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.\nHumble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn\nTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively\nFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed\nLeadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborator\nProblem solver: challenges existing processes, critical thinker\nThis work is undertaken with UK Defence customers which will require any individual applying for the role to hold or be capable of getting SC Level clearance as a UK Passport Holder.
