Shall acquire\nthe respective authorization/training before performing an activity.\nEnsure that all Contract workers are performing the assigned activity safely while working\nwith you or nearby area.\nKnowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental Impact & aspect and risk related to\nactivities of Machine shop.\nUnderstanding of nuclear safety culture and ITNS-I & A (Important To Nuclear Safety- Item &\nActivity)\nReview and understanding of machining documents like MOPs, SOPs, drawings, KSL, program\nfiles, Tool sheets and FMEAs.\nFollow TPM procedures likes AM checklist and involvement in PM activities.\nKnowledge of rotary & casing components, bearing pads & operating of CNC Milling machine.\nPerform job set up & offset, Tool set up & offset and precise quality measurements as per\ninstructions & requirements.\nPerform set up and machining of ITNS-I nuclear HP valve, execution of ITNS- Activity and\ntechnical check of ITNS-A as per procedures and requirements.\nPerform other Nuclear Casing & parts machining, rotor coupling holes & balancing holes\nmachining, Fir tree groove machining, taper pin holes, parting plane machining, drilling,\ntapping, thread milling, boring, generator slot machining, balancing & straddle groove opening\nand Carden holes.\nMonitoring of production, adjusting feed & appropriate machine setting.\nKnowledge of usage of measuring instruments, error check & its application.\nKnowledge of cutting tools & its application, trouble shooting of machine and understanding\nof CNC program & manual program.\nLean approach likes 5s, TPM, Kaizen etc and maintain safe & clean workplace.\nTeamwork and Coordination with fellow operator team & cross functional team for\nuninterrupted Production.\nSupport other machine team & assembly team.\nBasic Qualifications(requirements):\nITI- machinist / Diploma in Mechanical engineering\nMin 5-year experience in Machining of rotary and casing parts (Turbine/Generator)\nBasic computer skills\nDesired Qualifications:\nDemonstrated integrity accept and adhere to high ethical, moral, and personal values in\ndecisions, communications, and actions when dealing with others\nLean Mindset and understanding of lean tool.
