The mission is to sustainably elevate performance, quality, and nuclear safety standards of industrial partners to secure critical projects in a demanding environment.This role focuses on the structural development of suppliers, addressing the core elements that determine supplier reliability:\nExcellence of the Quality Management System\nStrengthening of nuclear safety culture and requirements\nOrganizational and documentation robustness, including sub-tier supplier\nmanagement\nContinuous improvement capability and risk control\nThe role is suited for a structured and rigorous engineer with strong quality expertise, mastering the industrial production process from order intake to delivery. With excellent interpersonal skills, the individual acts as a true change driver, supporting suppliers through a Lean approach.\nWorking closely with internal experts, the Supplier Development Engineer assesses supplier maturity by conducting audits, analyzing organization, and identifying risks and weak signals. Supported by sourcing strategy, he/she develops and leads high-impact development plans (including operational aspects), supports suppliers in transforming their practices, and ensures the effectiveness of implemented actions.\nThe suppliers covered include:\nNew Arabelle Solutions suppliers\nCurrent suppliers with quality performance issues\nStrategic suppliers for the company\nThis role directly contributes to supplier panel maturity, nuclear supply chain reliability, and the success of Arabelle Solutions projects.\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nContribute to and validate the global supplier selection strategy with sourcing teams\n Prepare, plan, and conduct assessment audits (ISO 9001, ISO 19443, customer requirements, internal standards) at supplier sites\nEvaluate and challenge suppliers’ organizational structure and processes to meet nuclear technical and administrative requirements; assess safety culture (organization, supply chain monitoring, competency management, process robustness, documentation control)\nIdentify and mitigate gaps, weak signals, and risks affecting quality or safety\nDeliver structured and actionable reports\nCoordinate with internal technical experts for supplier-related actions\n Develop pragmatic and measurable supplier development plans (actions, deadlines, KPIs)\nDrive supplier maturity improvement through Lean coaching, follow-up, and effectiveness assessment\nPromote best practices while respecting confidentiality rules\nDevelop and improve supplier qualification, maturity standards, and development programs, leveraging synergies within the EDF Group\nREQUIRED SKILLS\nTechnical Skills\nTraining or certification in nuclear safety / ISO 19443 is a plus\nMinimum 10 years of experience in quality, audits, or supplier development, ideally in regulated industries (nuclear, energy, rail, aerospace)\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes\nStrong command of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 required)\nGood understanding of nuclear safety culture\nExpertise in operational excellence in manufacturing\nExperience in QMS, organizational and process audits\nStrong knowledge of industrial production processes\nBehavioral Skills\nStrong leadership and change management capability\nExcellent communication, listening, analytical and synthesis skills\nRigor, autonomy, and initiative\nStrong interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders\nProactive mindset\nPROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS\nEngineering degree or equivalent\nFluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nWillingness to travel to supplier sites\nJoin us and work with global teams to support global customers !
