The successful candidate will drive maintenance excellence, operational transformation, asset reliability, and organizational capability, ensuring the site is positioned for long-term growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintenance & Asset Management\nDevelop and execute the site's maintenance strategy aligned with business objectives.\nLead and stretgize all maintenance functions, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & utilities.\nDrive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and asset performance.\nImprove overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), plant reliability, maintenance productivity, and lifecycle asset management.\nEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements, including nuclear quality standards where applicable.\nBrownfield Operations & Site Expansion\nLead maintenance activities within an operating brownfield manufacturing environment while minimizing production disruption.\nSupport major site expansion and capital investment projects from design through commissioning and operational handover.\nProvide maintenance and reliability expertise during equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and startup.\nDevelop long-term maintenance strategies for newly installed manufacturing assets and infrastructure.\nTransformation & Continuous Improvement\nLead enterprise-wide maintenance transformation initiatives focused on reliability, digitalization, operational excellence, and cost optimization.\nImplement best practices in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM)\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.\nFoster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.\nLeadership & People Management\nBuild, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance organization consisting of engineers, supervisors, planners, and skilled trades.\nCreate a strong performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, employee engagement, and leadership development.\nDevelop succession plans and strengthen organizational capability through coaching and mentoring.\nAct as a visible and influential leader who effectively manages change across the organization.\nSuccessfully lead within a unionized manufacturing environment, fostering positive labor relations while maintaining operational excellence.\nFinancial & Stakeholder Management\nManage maintenance operating budgets, CAPEX investments, contractor performance, and asset lifecycle costs.\nCollaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and Project teams to achieve business objectives.\nProvide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding asset investments, modernization, and long-term maintenance planning.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering\n20+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience within heavy manufacturing or process industries.\nDemonstrated success leading maintenance organizations in industries such as nuclear, power generation, turbine manufacturing, heavy engineering, steel, mining, oil & gas, aerospace, or other capital-intensive manufacturing environments.\nProven experience managing brownfield manufacturing facilities and supporting large-scale expansion or capital investment projects.\nStrong expertise in asset management, reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, maintenance planning, and operational excellence.\nExperience leading large multidisciplinary maintenance organizations and managing complex contractor networks.\nDemonstrated success leading organizational transformation and change management initiatives.\nExperience working in unionized manufacturing environments with strong employee and labor relations skills.\nSix Sigma Black belt Certification will be an added advantage\nLeadership Competencies\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate:\nStrategic maintenance and asset management leadership combined with strong hands-on operational expertise.\nA proven ability to lead maintenance transformation and deliver sustainable business improvements.\nExceptional people leadership, with the ability to build, inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.\nSound commercial and financial acumen with experience managing significant maintenance and capital budgets.\nA collaborative leadership style with a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement.\nThe ability to lead through complexity and organizational change while maintaining high levels of employee engagement and operational performance.\nJoin us and work with global teams to support global customers !
