The role is based at our site on Newbold Road in Rugby.\nAs a Sourcing Specialist- Buying/Procurement you will be responsible for developing and managing an existing supply chain ensuring that components are delivered according to Quality, Cost and Time as per the project needs.\nThe role will be project based predominantly high value, high volume but for certain commodities this could be high value, low volume. You will manage suppliers who are proven in their commodity, reviewing performance and identifying risks to the program whilst developing mitigation plans should the need arise.\nOther Key Responsibilities pf the role are:\nNegotiate/manage existing terms and conditions, manage claims and vendor recovery\nOrder fulfilment tasks to ensure material on time delivery, PO placement and Invoice management. Expediting.\nCo-ordinate supplier and product qualification together with Quality & Engineering teams\nDevelop alternate sources and/or risk mitigation plans for single & sole source suppliers\nIdentify and deliver value-adding opportunities from the supply chain\nManage and improve supplier relationship and demonstrate the ability to communicate problems and present solutions with internal and external customers at senior levels\nQualifications/Requirements:\nDemonstrable years of transactional sourcing and procurement experience with in-depth experience in high-value and complex projects.\nStrong negotiation and contract management skills, with excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills\nSelf-starter with drive, able to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment\nMotivation, Teamwork is essential, trust, credibility and capability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally is essential\nDesired Characteristics to be considered:\nExperience within power industry related products.\nMain Suppliers are UK based, must be able to travel when required. \nProject Management Skills, Schedule Management a must.\nQuality, Supplier Quality experience would be beneficial.\nInterpersonal skills, managing people and situations including contract issues.\nProactive and pragmatic in their approach to managing the supplier (s)\nAble to adapt and work quickly to project situations.\nBe able to manage various workstreams at the same time.\nManagement of change i.e. engineering, quality, escalations and reporting to senior management both at the supplier as well as Arabelle Solutions.\nExperience on SAP, Microsoft packages including MS Project.\nJoin us and work with global teams to support global customers !
