We are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team at RAF Lossiemouth on a zero hour contract. This flexible role is ideal for an experienced chef looking for work on an as-and-when-required basis, supporting the catering operation during periods of increased demand, annual leave cover, and special events.

What you'll be doing
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals to specification
- Supporting breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hospitality services as required
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and allergen management standards at all times
- Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and food ordering
- Ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and organised
- Following recipes, production standards, and company procedures
- Supporting the wider kitchen team to deliver excellent food and customer service
- Completing all relevant food safety and due diligence records
About you
- Previous chef experience is essential
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for producing high-quality food and delivering excellent service
