This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced catering professional to lead a busy catering operation, managing both kitchen performance and service delivery.\nYou'll be responsible for driving food quality, managing a team and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for customers while maintaining high operational standards.\nAs a Chef Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the catering operation, leading the kitchen team while remaining hands-on with food preparation and service. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, compliance and financial performance are consistently achieved.\nKey responsibilities include:\nLeading and managing the catering team to deliver an outstanding food service\nPreparing, cooking and presenting high-quality meals in line with menu specifications\nManaging staffing levels, rotas, training and team development\nEnsuring compliance with food hygiene, allergen and health & safety regulations\nManaging stock control, ordering, budgeting and food cost targets\nBuilding strong relationships with customers and stakeholders\nMonitoring food quality, presentation and service standards\nDriving continuous improvement and maintaining operational excellence\nCompleting administration, audits and reporting requirements accurately.\nWhat's in it for You?\n£32,496.45 per annum\n40 hours per week, with flexibility required to meet business needs\n5 days out of 7\n Shift times between 09:00 and 17:30\nAccess to our Employee Benefits app: online GP, Employee Assistance Scheme,and hundreds of discounts (including supermarket savings and weekend treats)\n\nCompany pension contributions\nLife assurance\nGenerous holiday entitlement with the option to buy more\nExcellent training and development opportunities\nApprenticeship schemes available\nFantastic career progression opportunities, as we LOVE to promote from within\nBe part of a talented and supportive team.\n Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Catering Manager, Head Chef or similar leadership role\nStrong culinary skills and a passion for delivering high-quality food\nProven experience managing and developing teams\nGood financial awareness, including stock control and budget management\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\nStrong knowledge of food hygiene, allergen management and health & safety legislation\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively\nA proactive, customer-focused and solutions-driven approach\nFood Hygiene Level 3 qualification is desirable.\n Employment is subject to satisfactory right to work checks.
