Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Chef Supervisor to join our team at HMP Rye Hill, CV23 8SZ. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef looking to develop their leadership skills while working within a unique and rewarding catering environment.
As a Chef Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day management of the kitchen operation, ensuring high standards of food quality, food safety, and customer service are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting the kitchen team during daily operations
- Assisting with the preparation, cooking, and service of meals
- Ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards
- Supporting stock control, stock rotation, and ordering procedures
- Completing kitchen records, paperwork, and due diligence checks
- Training and supporting team members as required
- Assisting with the smooth running of kitchen shifts and service periods
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an efficient and professional catering service

- Previous experience in a chef or supervisory culinary role
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to lead by example and motivate others

- DBS check required
