We are currently recruiting for a Chef Supervisor to join our team at Munster Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced catering professional to take a leadership role within a busy military catering operation, helping to deliver approximately 1,000 meals three times per day while maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, service, and compliance.

What you'll be doing
- Working with a team of chefs and kitchen assistants to deliver around 1,000 meals, three times a day
- Supervising day-to-day activity within the kitchen operation
- Preparing quality food within a set pre-ordered menu
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and operating to the highest hygiene standards
- Conducting stock checks and ensuring stock is managed effectively
- Completing all relevant paperwork and due diligence records accurately
- Handling customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Supporting compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures
- Assisting with the training and development of team members
- Maintaining excellent standards of customer service and operational delivery
About you
- Previous supervisory experience within a catering or hospitality environment
- One of the following qualifications, or equivalent:
- BSc Catering
- MHCIM
- HND
- City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2
- NVQ Level 2 and Level 3
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
- CIEH Level 2 qualification or equivalent
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach
Important Requirements
- Applicants must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK
- Successful candidates must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
