From weddings, banquets, conferences and themed dining experiences to seasonal attractions and live music concerts, this role is responsible for leading front-line event teams and supporting the successful delivery of a wide range of hospitality and entertainment events.\nWorking closely with the Events Manager, the Events Team Leader will supervise Event Hosts, coordinate event operations, and ensure the highest standards of customer service, presentation, and safety are maintained at all times. This is hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTeam Leadership\nLead, motivate, and support a team of Event Hosts during events and day-to-day operations\nConduct team briefings and allocate duties to ensure smooth event delivery\nProvide coaching, guidance, and support to team members, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment \nLead by example, demonstrating professionalism, excellent customer service, and a strong work ethic\nSupport the training of new team members\nAssist managers with rota implementation and workforce coordination during events\nCustomer Service\nDeliver exceptional guest service in line with company and venue standards\nProvide a warm and professional welcome to all guests attending events\nRespond positively and professionally to guest requests, enquiries, and complaints\nActively engage with guests to enhance their overall event experience\nResolve minor guest concerns and escalate more complex issues where appropriate\nSupport the smooth running of events whilst maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude\nFood & Beverage Operations\nServe food and beverages to guests efficiently and professionally \nSupport table service operations, including clearing and resetting tables between courses\nOversees service standards and ensure guests receive prompt and efficient service\nOperate bar facilities in accordance with company procedures and licensing requirements\nMonitor stock levels during events and support replenishment activities where required\nMaintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout service periods\nEvent Operations\nSupport the planning, setup, operation, and breakdown of event spaces and equipment\nCoordinate event marshalling activities and assist with guest flow management\nEnsure venues are prepared to the required standard before guest arrival\nProvide operational leadership throughout events to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently\nSupport the delivery of weddings, conferences, banquets, concerts, corporate functions, and seasonal events\nAssist with troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing solutions during live events\nAdapt to varying event formats, business demands, and operational requirements\nSupport the management team in achieving event revenue, guest satisfaction, and operational targets\nHealth & Safety\nFollow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and company procedures \nMaintain a safe environment for guests, colleagues, contractors, and performers\nEnsure team members adhere to safe working practices and company standards\nReport any hazards, incidents, accidents, or concerns promptly\nSupport compliance with responsible alcohol service standards\nSupport the venue’s commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation\n Essential criteria:\nPrevious experience in hospitality, catering, events, or a customer facing environment\nPrevious experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a team\nExcellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality\nStrong leadership and people management skills \nExcellent awareness of food hygiene and health & safety standards\nAbility to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment \nWillingness to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and seasonal event schedules\nMust be aged 18 or over due to the nature of the role\n At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.\nAs a proud Disability Confident Employer, we actively encourage applications from individuals of all abilities and are dedicated to supporting employees with disabilities throughout their career journey.\nWe are an Armed Forces Friendly organisation and proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant.
