This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy operation where you'll play a key role in transporting food safely across the site while maintaining the highest standards of security, safety, and service.\nThis is a physically demanding role and is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team, and taking pride in delivering an essential service.\nWhat's in it for you?\n£13.89 per hour\nPermanent, full-time position\n35 hours per week\nWorking 4 days over 7, including alternate weekends\nShift times between 6:30am and 4:30pm\nFree meals whilst on duty\nFree on-site parking\nUniform provided\nAccess to an on-site gym\nLife assurance and pension scheme\nAccess to our Employee Benefits app: online GP, Employee Assistance Scheme, and hundreds of discounts and savings\nTraining and development opportunities\nCareer progression within a global organisation\nWhat you'll be doing\nCollecting hot food trolleys from residential wings each morning using the secure airlock collection process, ensuring all security procedures are followed\nSafely manoeuvring heavy hot food trolleys, loading them onto the delivery vehicle, and transporting them to the main kitchen\nDelivering loaded hot food trolleys to residential wings for lunch and evening meal services\nUsing radio communication to arrange collections with prison officers\nCollecting empty trolleys following meal services and returning them to the main kitchen\nAssisting with receiving supplier deliveries and checking goods against delivery documentation\nSupporting the safe storage and rotation of stock\nWorking appropriately alongside prisoners assigned to the kitchen and stores areas\nMaintaining professional boundaries and adhering to all site security requirements\nFollowing food safety, health & safety, and operational procedures at all times\n About you\nValid Category C1 driving licence required (including automatic C1 entitlement where applicable).\nAbility to work in a secure environment and follow strict procedures\nPositive, proactive attitude with strong teamwork skills\nGood communication and organisational skills\nReliable and flexible approach to work\nPrevious logistics, delivery, warehouse, or driving experience is advantageous\n About you\nValid Category C1 driving licence required (including automatic C1 entitlement where applicable).\nAbility to work in a secure environment and follow strict procedures\nPositive, proactive attitude with strong teamwork skills\nGood communication and organisational skills\nReliable and flexible approach to work\nPrevious logistics, delivery, warehouse, or driving experience is advantageous\nAt Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.\nAs a proud Disability Confident Employer, we actively encourage applications from individuals of all abilities and are dedicated to supporting employees with disabilities throughout their career journey.\nWe are an Armed Forces Friendly organisation and proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant.
