The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, organizational skills, and a passion for pastry arts to this dynamic position.\nPrepare, bake, and present a range of high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods to company and client standards.\nEnsure food hygiene, food safety, and presentation standards are maintained in line with HACCP and Health & Safety legislation.\nAssist with pastry menu planning, recipe development, and menu costing to achieve budgeted gross profit margins while minimizing waste.\nOrder ingredients and products in accordance with company purchasing procedures and approved supplier lists.\nComplete and maintain all required Food Safety and Quality documentation accurately and on time.\nMaintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and personal presentation within the pastry section.\nManage and organize the pastry section to ensure efficient service and consistent product quality.\nMonitor and record food temperatures where required and ensure compliance with food safety standards.\nParticipate in weekly kitchen health and safety reviews with the Chef Manager.\nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.\nCarry out daily and weekly cleaning schedules to the required standards.\nSupport the development of innovative desserts, seasonal menu items, and special event catering.\n 1-2 years' experience in a professional pastry, bakery, or hospitality kitchen.\nExperience preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods.\nExperience working with HACCP procedures and food safety documentation.\nExperience in menu planning, food costing, and waste control is desirable.Key Skills\n\nRelevant Culinary, Pastry, or Bakery Qualification.\nStrong pastry, baking, and dessert preparation skills.\nKnowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.\nAbility to produce high-quality products with attention to detail.\nGood understanding of food costing and stock control.\nCreativity and passion for developing new dessert concepts.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nProfessional, courteous, and customer-focused approach.\nHigh standards of personal hygiene and presentation.\n About Aramark\nAramark Ireland is a leader in food, facilities, and workplace services, supporting clients across healthcare, education, business, and the public sector.
