We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to become an integral part of our operations, where you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety whilst supporting our wider team in delivering exceptional service. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout all designated areas to the highest standards, including corridors, common areas, and back-of-house spaces - Assist with the receipt, handling, and safe storage of deliveries, ensuring proper inventory management and stock rotation procedures are followed - Support waste disposal and recycling initiatives in accordance with company policy and environmental best practice
- Carry out cleaning schedules to a high standard and ensure all areas are ready for use and inspection - Assist various departments with moving, lifting, and transporting items safely and efficiently, using appropriate manual handling techniques - Follow food safety, COSHH, health and safety, and company procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members across the organisation to ensure smooth operations and address any maintenance or cleanliness concerns - Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in a dynamic working environment, adapting to changing priorities - Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate protective equipment as required - Support the team with general duties and tasks as directed, showing willingness to learn and develop
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic with commitment to excellence - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues from all levels - Reliable and punctual approach to work with excellent time keeping - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment - Manual dexterity and good coordination - Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods - Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely, with understanding of manual handling procedures - Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and take on new responsibilities
- Understanding of waste management and recycling procedures - Basic problem-solving skills and ability to identify and report maintenance issues - Discretion and professionalism in all interactions - Desirable: Previous experience as a porter, facilities assistant, or in a cleaning/maintenance role
- Desirable: Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations - Desirable: Experience working in a hospitality, corporate, or facilities management environment - Desirable: First Aid or health and safety certification
