Responsibilities include infrastructure management, automation of deployment pipelines, tool selection and integration, and ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure delivery of software products throughout the development lifecycle.\nAdditionally, the incumbent will optimize resource utilization and ultimately, the role contributes to quicker release cycles, reduced downtime, improved system performance, and increased innovation, driving overall business agility and success.\nJob Description\nCustomer:\nEnsure continuous delivery of new features and updates to improve product offerings.\nQuickly respond to and resolve production issues to minimize customer impact.\nCollect and analyze customer feedback to guide development and operations improvements.\nMaintain and improve system reliability, uptime, and overall performance.\nPeople:\nFoster a collaborative culture between development, product team, and other cross-functional teams.\nFacilitate regular communication and collaboration through meetings, tools, and processes.\nProvide training and resources to team members to improve their skills in DevOps practices and tools.\nEncourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.\nPromote best practices and standards across the team.\nOperations:\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.\nAutomate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce human error.\nManage cloud and on-premises infrastructure to support development and production environments.\nEnsure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-effective.\nImplement incident management processes to quickly address and resolve production issues.\nConduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to prevent future occurrences.\nManage and maintain configuration settings for applications and infrastructure.\nUse configuration management tools to ensure consistency across environments.\nParticipate in strategic planning and roadmap development for DevOps initiatives.\nLead the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across multiple environments, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure.\nFinancial Results:\nMonitor and optimize cloud and infrastructure costs to ensure efficient use of resources.\nImplement cost-saving measures without compromising on performance and reliability.\nAllocate resources effectively to meet operational and project needs.\nBalance resource allocation to support both ongoing operations and new initiatives.\nAssist in planning and managing budgets for DevOps tools, infrastructure, and team resources\nJob Requirements - Experience and Education\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.\nCandidates working for this position should possess at least 3 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer, release management.\nCandidates must possess ample knowledge and experience in system automation, deployment, and implementation.\nStrong ability to work with remote teams.\nCandidates must possess experience in using Linux, Windows, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub, AWS Code Deploy.\nThe candidates should also possess experience in the software development process and tools and languages like SaaS, Python, Shell scripting and Git. \nCandidates should demonstrate knowledge in handling distributed data systems. Examples: Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and others.\nCandidates must possess in configuring and automating the monitoring tools.
