Highly focused, operational and administrative role so attention to details is essential.\nJob Description\nUpdate collection and delivery status in a timely manner.\nScanning of freight into and out of the depot.\nLog and report daily outturn reports, cross-reference any discrepancies and providing new delivery notes with amended details where applicable.\nContact hauliers to provide quotations for special collections and deliveries, comparing suppliers to find the most cost-effective solution.\nExcel reporting to accounts team all shipments with special transport rate agreements or additional customer charges.\nMonitor and resolve transport queries by liaising between transport provider, customer and other depots.\nEnsure internal TMS is accurate and updated in a timely manner.\nResponsible for creating and issuing run sheets detailing collections and deliveries for each supplier.\nData entry with attention to detail.\nCustomer service - dealing with queries from customers, subcontractors and drivers.
