This is a high-impact, multifaceted role where you will manage the administrative backbone of the company - from coordinating office build-outs and vendor relationships to executing the daily HR operations that support our growing engineering team.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Recruitment & HR Coordination\nServe as the subject matter expert on local employment laws and statutory compliance, advising the People team on policy creation, employee relations, and HR risk management.\nManage the day-one orientation for new hires, ensuring all equipment, access badges, and \"welcome kits\" are ready.\nMaintain secure employee files and ensure all mandatory local documents (Form 11, Aadhaar/PAN copies) are collected and filed.\nSupport the payroll team by working with our local payroll provider to track attendance, leaves, and reimbursement claims for monthly processing.\nAssist the Site Manager in scheduling interviews, managing candidate pipelines to scale the engineering team.\n2. Office Administration\nLead the initial office setup by coordinating with interior designers, IT installers, and furniture vendors.\nAct as the primary point of contact for the facility manager, ensuring the office is clean, stocked with supplies, office keys are safely managed, and fully functional.\nManage relationships with local service providers (Internet, Utilities, Housekeeping, and Security).\nArrange travel and accommodation for visiting guests, global leadership and local team events.\nIT equipment shipping and handling, and tracking\n3. Compliance & Legal Support\nAssist the Site Manager in gathering documents required for MCA filings, GST registrations, and labor law compliance.\nEnsure the office remains compliant with local safety regulations and support the implementation of POSH Act awareness training.\n Skills and Experience:\nExperience: 10+ years of experience in HR Administration or Office Management, preferably within a fast-paced tech startup or a multinational company.\nFluent in English and Hind (both written and spoken)i; proficiency in the local regional language of the office site is a strong advantage.\nHigh proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and familiarity with HRIS/Payroll software.\nA proven ability to juggle multiple operational tasks with high attention to detail and zero oversight.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with the \"Shops and Establishments Act\" and basic Indian labor law compliance.\nExperience working in a global team environment.\nWhat Makes Arango Special?\nAt Arango, we believe that AI is only as powerful as the data foundation.
