This role will enhance and maintain a highly configurable, multi-tenant, enterprise class, SaaS solution that incorporates cross-organizational collaborative workflows, data integration, and a rich user interface built on a complex data model. You will work on driving Operational Excellence and improving our team’s Developer Experience through automation, advanced telemetry, and continual improvement of our internal processes.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n Champion DevOps best practices by contributing to a culture of change, gathering continuous feedback, and driving efficiency through automation.\nManage and improve CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure as Code (IaC), focusing on engineering efficiency, quality, and security, to accelerate deployment cycles.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure operational excellence.\nEnsure that infrastructure, systems, and services are scalable, secure, and cost effective.\nOwn observability and incident management with KPIs to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nSecurity-first mindset for infrastructure, tools, software, and SaaS vendors.\nAssist in diagnosing and resolving customer issues, offering support for debugging and remediating issues.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, as well as managing project timelines and deliverables effectively.\nProvide 24/7 coverage to support internal and external customers.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\n\n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in related field.\n6+ years of DevOps experience\nAdept at designing and architecting solutions in self-hosted, private / public cloud, and hybrid environments (Rackspace, AWS, Azure).\nPrevious experience implementing DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies, including CI / CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitLab, Nexus, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and IaC (Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation / CDK).\nManagement of SaaS applications (Java, Spring Boot, Oracle Database, Solr, ZooKeeper, Cassandra, ActiveMQ), including monitoring, incident management, and triaging issues.\nDeep understanding of observability tools for monitoring, logging, and analysis (Datadog, Sumo Logic, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).\nKnowledge of networking principles and how it applies to data flow and security.\nExperience debugging complex applications in Linux environments.\nHistory of mentoring and growing effective engineering teams.\nWorked within Agile and Lean software development teams.\nPreferred Qualifications/Skills/Soft Skills:\nResults oriented, product focused, and at ease in an environment requiring the ability to quickly and appropriately prioritize conflicting demands.\nStrong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communications skills.\nHigh degree of initiative consistently demonstrated by the active ownership of complex problems through their successful resolution.\nTeam player eager to work closely with, learn from, and mentor others while continually improving self and team.\nInnately curious about new technologies and their practical application in a startup environment.\nFlexibility and willingness to pitch in and wear more than one hat in a dynamic organization.\nWhy Join Us:\nAt Aravo Solutions, Inc., we offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment where employees are encouraged to innovate, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
