This position extends beyond individual contributions, encompassing wider team responsibilities, collaboration with other Tech Leads, and coordination with wider team disciplines like QA, DevOps and Front End.\nIt’s a broad and exciting role, so we’re looking for someone up for a challenge - if you’re highly technical and an effective communicator, this is the role for you.\nCore responsibilities\nCollaborate closely with other Tech Leads within the technology group, fostering a cohesive and high-performing engineering organization.\nTake a leadership role in solutionizing complex feature requests, ensuring alignment with the team's architectural decisions and contributing to wider team responsibilities.\nDrive the creation of detailed and strategic documentation for new feature developments, emphasizing architectural considerations and alignment with the overall technology strategy.\nLead and actively participate in advanced testing practices, ensuring that the team maintains a high standard of test coverage and reliability.\nProduce well-architected, efficient, and scalable code, serving as a role model for engineering best practices.\nRequirements\nKnowledge, Skills, and Experience\nMinimum 8 years experience in software development.\nExpertise in PHP, Zend Framework/Symfony, Twig, MySQL,AWS.\nExtensive and demonstrated experience with Object-Oriented languages and software development.\nAdvanced understanding and application of software engineering principles, including SOLID, DRY, etc.\nExpertise in relational database technologies, data architecture, and data management.\nProven experience in designing and implementing APIs and services within a service-oriented environment.\nLeadership experience, showcasing the ability to guide teams, make architectural decisions, and drive technical excellence.\nA team player, willing to muck in and help others when needed, a driven personality who asks questions and actively participates in discussions.\nGood written and spoken English for effective communication and presentation.\nFamiliarity with Scrum methodology or other agile development processes.\nExperience with cloud computing.\nWork Mode: Hybrid - Weekly thrice WFO\n\nBenefits\nWhat we offer\nThe chance to work alongside a team of hard-working, passionate people in a role where you’ll see the impact of your work every day.\nWe also offer:\nFlexible work environment (3 days work from office)\nGroup Term Life Insurance paid out at 3x Annual CTC (Arbor India)\n32 days holiday (plus Arbor Holidays).
