From the office to the field, our team of talented professionals work hard each day to safely execute our business and create positive and lasting impacts for our stakeholders.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY:\nReporting to the Area Foreman, the Field Operations Summer Student positions require organized, detail oriented and motivated individuals who are ready to work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. These roles involve working alongside team members with extensive and diverse experience within Field Operations. These 4-month work terms will commence in May 2027 and are based in Grande Prairie.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nMaintain housekeeping of operational sites and facilities, which includes cleaning and painting\n\nAssist in vegetation management; weed eating of sites and facilities\n\nAssist Field Operations as required for compliance including data capture and asset management of equipment\n\nSupport warehouse and supply chain personnel with assigned tasks\n\nWHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC:\nThese positions are ideally suited for students currently in their second or third year of a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and are returning to their studies in the following term, or for high school graduates who have completed a 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate\n\nValid Class 5 license and experienced driving on rural roads\n\nExcellent communication and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of team\n\nMotivated and enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic\n\nCapability to work outdoors in ranging temperatures that can sometimes exceed 30 degrees\n\nMust be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks\n\nPossesses a strong commitment to safety\n\nDemonstrated ability to adapt to process changes and modifications\n\nMust be able to live and work in the greater Grande Prairiearea and travel regularly to various field locations throughout the work term\n\nREWARDING OPPORTUNITY:\nAn opportunity to be part of delivering responsible energy by developing and growing your career with us\n\nWorking collaboratively with, and learning from some of the most talented and experienced people in our industry\n\nA culture of caring and high performance\n\nFocus on health and well-being\n\nAn environment where all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully, have equal access to opportunities and resources, feel a sense of belonging, and can contribute fully to the organization’s success\n\nMeaningful work that makes a difference in the Canadian energy industry\n\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION:\nAs this role is considered safety sensitive, the successful candidate will be required to successfully complete drug and alcohol testing, and a fitness to work test.\n\nShift schedules for these roles are 4 days on and 3 days off, working 10 hours per day, Monday to Thursday\n\nWe are pleased to share that Shell’s acquisition of ARC Resources Ltd. has now officially closed.
