Most people get financial advice that's reactive: an annual check-in, a plan that's a document instead of a living thing, a relationship where you're one of three hundred clients your advisor is trying to remember. We think that's backwards. The kind of service that used to require a team of specialists behind you, the kind that makes you feel like the only person in the room, should be available to far more than the ultra-wealthy.\nSo we're building it. We're not SaaS - we are the wealth management business, rebuilding it from the inside with AI. Our platform is an Iron Man suit for advisors: it takes over the low-leverage work so they can focus on what actually requires a human, showing up with empathy, context, and judgment. Underneath, it keeps a living understanding of each client. It remembers the thing you mentioned once, six months ago. It notices when your life changes - a new job, a new kid, a market shift - and adjusts before you think to ask. You won't see the technology. You'll just notice your advisor seems to know you better than any financial professional ever has.\nThat's the product we're growing: client by client, on the strength of the experience itself. We started by acquiring firms managing over $1B in client assets, which gave us real advisors, real clients, and real financial outcomes to build against from day one. But acquisition was the starting line. The bet is that an advisor backed by this platform delivers something good enough that clients come to us on their own.\nIt's a $20T market, and we think it's ready to be rebuilt.\n- Rron, CEO\nThe receipts\nStage: Series A, $64M raised\n\nBacked by: General Catalyst, Index Ventures, Venrock\n\nBoard & Advisors: Former CEO of Vanguard, Former CFO of Schwab, Founder of Altruist, Morgan Housel (author of The Psychology of Money)\n\nThe team\nWe’re small on purpose and engineering heavy: about 80% of the team is technical. We’re based in NYC and hail from high growth startups like Stripe, Ramp, Rippling, Plaid, Doordash, & Glean.\nWe’re fully in-office in Flatiron, five days a week-lunch together, coffee breaks, basketball games, happy hours.\nThe role\nAs a Product Manager, you’ll own product areas end to end across both sides of the business: the platform our advisors work in every day, and the experience clients use to see and manage their wealth. This is a hands-on role. You’ll sit with advisors, operators, and clients, turn what you learn into clear priorities, and work side by side with engineering and design to ship, measure, and iterate fast. You’ll work directly with the founder and the engineering team, and partner closely with the Head of Product we’re hiring. If you ship it, you own it.\nWhat you’ll own\nAdvisor and operations workflows. The meeting prep, follow-up, onboarding, and compliance work that fills an advisor’s day, rebuilt so agents carry the load and one advisor can serve far more clients without the experience slipping.\n\nThe client experience. Where clients see their goals, their portfolio, and their full financial picture, and engage with their advisor on their own terms. We’ve never built directly for consumers until now, so you’ll help define what that experience is.\n\nAgent-first features. Working with engineers on how agents act inside the product: what they do on their own, where an advisor signs off, and how everyone can trust what happened.\n\nSpecs, priorities, and measurement. Clear problem definitions, tight scoping, and the metrics that tell us whether what we shipped worked.\n\nHow we build. Helping shape a lightweight product process as the team grows, and mentoring newer PMs along the way.\n\nExample problems you’d work on\nThese aren’t hypothetical; we’re actively working on versions of all of these.\nWhat a client sees first. Clients want to know whether they’re on track. The first version of the client experience has to make goals and progress clear, then give clients the right tools to act on them, while investment decisions stay with the advisor they hired for that expertise. Deciding what the client does directly and what stays with the advisor is the core call.\n\nKnowing whether “your whole financial picture” is working. Our promise is that clients feel someone understands everything about their finances. In the first 90 days after launch, how do we know that’s true? Engagement, proactive actions taken, assets consolidated, how often clients push back on their advisor’s recommendations, and what advisors hear in meetings each tell part of the story.\n\nRebuilding an advisor workflow agent-first. Take a workflow like meeting prep or account opening. Instead of adding AI to the existing screens, what does the agent do on its own, where does a human have to sign off, and how does it hold up under compliance review?\n\nShipping across every firm we bring on. Each acquisition brings advisors with different tools and habits. Features have to work for all of them, so you’ll separate what generalizes from what was bespoke to one firm.\n\nThe kind of person who thrives here\nYou’re excited by ownership, ambiguity, and building things that matter.\nYou’ve owned a product area end to end. Discovery, scoping, launch, and iteration, at a startup or a high-growth company. You know how to work inside a roadmap and how to push back on it when the evidence says so.\n\nYou build for people who aren’t software-first. You’ve brought technology to users new to it, or to regulated, operations-heavy workflows. B2B2C experience is a plus: you know how to serve a professional and their end client in the same product. Fintech, capital markets, or wealth experience is a plus, not a requirement.\n\nYou’re AI-pilled and hands-on. You’ve shipped AI features yourself, you use AI for hours a day, and you have opinions on what agents should do on their own versus hand to a human. You’re comfortable prototyping and talking to engineers in their language.\n\nYou have consumer instincts. Whatever your background, you care about trust, simplicity, and how a product feels, and you know the difference between what users ask for and what they actually need.\n\nYou’re a builder who can coach. You’re happiest shipping product as an IC, and you’re glad to mentor others and take on more as the team grows.\n\nYou hold a high bar because of what’s at stake. This is people’s real money: their retirement, their savings, the plans they have for their families, in a highly regulated industry. “Good enough” means something different here.\n\nYou’re someone people actually want to be in the room with. This is a small, tight-knit team in one office, five days a week, working on problems that don’t have clean answers. The people who thrive here want to argue about product direction at lunch and then build something together in the afternoon. Kind, direct, and low-ego, you can give candid feedback without being an asshole, and you’re genuinely energized by this environment (not just tolerant of it).\n\nWhy now is the moment to join\nThis is a narrow window with unusually high leverage.\nWe just came out of stealth, and we're growing fast. The team is intentionally small, the equity reflects that, and the ceiling is high. You'd be joining early enough that the work you do now directly shapes what the company becomes and what's possible next.\n\nThe advisor-facing product is being defined right now, by a small team that talks to advisors every day. We've just brought on our second firm-the real inflection point, where we start separating what generalizes from what was bespoke. The patterns you set become the foundation for every acquisition that follows.\n\nThe consumer product is a blank page. We've never built directly for consumers until now-no legacy, no template. Whoever takes this on defines what the experience even is.\n\nThe hard part is behind us, which means the interesting part is starting. The platform is live, the concept is proven, advisors have moved real client assets onto it. The work now is scaling a working system across four or five acquisitions this year-workflows, data, agents, reliability under real load.","description_format":"text","description_chars":8162,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity","Retirement plans"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Wealth Management & Financial Advisors"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-20T02:47:13Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":63,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.632,"p_room":1,"age_days":2,"expected_fill_days":23,"reasons":["conf:0","stale_co","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-22T06:10:10Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":300000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/arca-product-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/arca-product-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-22T15:37:04Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":15466,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-23T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":3780500},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=3780500"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Farca-product-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Farca-product-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Farca-product-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/arca-product-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Farca-product-manager"}]}
