This role reports directly to the VP of Analytics and operates as the highest-level analytic authority on our productionalized analytics engines and dashboards; driving methodological rigor, influencing business strategy, and ensuring analytics directly support contractual commitments and measurable performance outcomes.\nThis individual will lead a team of SQL analysts and BI developers to deliver scalable analytic solutions. Given the scale, visibility, and complexity of the work, this role requires deep healthcare domain expertise, advanced technical capability, strong executive presence, and the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn 3 months\nDevelop deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, reporting commitments, and performance objectives\nEstablish credibility as a strategic analytic partner to senior leaders and to your direct reports\nContribute to builds across backend and frontend deliverables\nProvide guidance on complex analytic workstreams and influence prioritization decisions\nBuild trust from team of 4-8 analysts/dashboarders and understand how team fits into priorities\nWork to refine current OKRs and build team out necessary to execute on those OKRs\nIn 6 months\nDrive measurable improvements in analytic quality, scalability, and efficiency\nLead cross-functional initiatives requiring advanced methodological expertise\nServe as trusted advisor on medical economics, risk, episodes, and dashboarding\nCreate rigorous performance management framework for team to be evaluated against\nEnsure AI integration into analytics workflows\nIn 12 months\nBe recognized as an enterprise subject matter expert across analytics, medical economics, risk, episodes and dashboarding\nInfluence strategic decisions through data-backed recommendations\nDemonstrate measurable impact on customer performance outcomes and business growth\nBuild durable analytic infrastructure and frameworks that scale across engagements\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDefine and lead analytic strategy across large-scale, high-visibility engagements\nArchitect advanced analytic frameworks supporting medical economics, performance measurement, population health, and value-based care initiatives\nServe as the senior-most analytic escalation point for complex methodological or data integrity questions built in DBT (Spark, SQL) and Amazon Quicksight\nDrive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Actuarial, Data Science, Finance, and Customer Success\nEnsure technical excellence and rigor in all analytic deliverables; establish quality standards and governance practices\nIdentify scalable opportunities for automation, reusable intellectual property, and analytic innovation\nPresent insights and strategic recommendations to senior and executive-level stakeholders\nMentor and develop Lead, Senior, and Data Analysts, elevating analytic capability across the team\nInfluence product and roadmap decisions through data-driven thought leadership\nWhat You'll Bring\n8-10+ years of healthcare analytics experience, with experience in medical economics or risk and dashboarding required\nAdvanced SQL proficiency, including optimization of complex queries in large data environments\nAdvanced Dashboarding proficiency, experience with Quicksight a plus (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc. are acceptable)\nExperience designing analytic methodologies and scalable frameworks\nDemonstrated success influencing senior or executive stakeholders\nProven experience leading large, complex analytic initiatives and teams with significant business impact\nStrong data storytelling and executive-level communication skills\nExperience mentoring and elevating senior analytic talent\nWould Love For You To Have\nExperience supporting large, enterprise healthcare clients\nExperience working within AWS or large-scale cloud data environments\nProficiency in DBT pipelines a plus\nExperience shaping
