With the power of many curious minds, together we can continue to solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.\nRole description:\nThe AI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting AI-powered solutions that improve business processes, employee experiences, and operational efficiency across Arcadis.\nThe AI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting AI-powered solutions that improve business processes, employee experiences, and operational efficiency across Arcadis.\nWorking as part of a global technology team, this role will help build and enhance AI agents, copilots, automations, and integrations using technologies such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Model Context Protocol (MCP), custom connectors, Power Platform, and Azure cloud services.\nThis position is ideal for a developer who is passionate about emerging AI technologies and enjoys combining software development, automation, integration, and problem-solving to deliver practical business solutions.\nRole accountabilities:\nDevelop, test, and deploy AI-powered applications, copilots, agents, and automation solutions.\nBuild solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.\nDevelop integrations between AI solutions and enterprise systems through APIs, MCP tools, custom connectors, and other integration technologies.\nAssist in creating reusable components, templates, and development patterns that support scalable solution delivery.\nSupport the implementation of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, document ingestion, and knowledge search capabilities.\nSupport proof-of-concept and pilot initiatives to evaluate emerging AI technologies and capabilities.\nParticipate in Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment activities.\nDocument solutions, integrations, and technical processes to support ongoing operations and future development.\nFollow established security, privacy, and compliance standards in the design and delivery of AI solutions.\nSupport implementation of Responsible AI practices, including content safety, transparency, and governance requirements.\nWork with cybersecurity and platform teams to ensure secure access to enterprise data and services.\nQualifications & Experience:\n2-5 years of experience in software development, automation, application development, or related technical roles.\nExperience developing solutions using at least one modern programming language such as Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.\nExperience building integrations using APIs, web services, or cloud platforms.\nFamiliarity with Azure cloud services and modern development practices.\nUnderstanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, or intelligent automation concepts.\nExperience working within Agile development teams.\n\nExperience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar AI platforms - nice to have \nExperience developing MCP tools, custom connectors, plugins, or API-based integrations - nice to have \n\nContinue your career journey as an Arcadian.\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
