The Team investigates, assesses, and delivers new and exciting ground solutions for all kinds of ground improvement projects.\nFollowing our recent establishment of a new facility in Gloucester, we currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Controller to join our growing team in a junior support role. Working with our Senior programme co-ordinator, the successful candidate will provide administrative and financial process support, helping with the day-to-day tracking of project costs, purchase orders, cheque requests, invoice and payment processing, supplier researching set up, and ordering.\nThis role is offered on a 24-hr working week, with work pattern negotiable.\nRole Accountabilities\nAssisting our Senior programme co-ordinator with project management activities and status reports\nSupporting our Senior programme co-ordinator in managing financial performance including tracking of costs, purchase orders and cheque requests\nLiaising with the finance team\nData analysis\nCoding and processing invoices, monitoring through to payment\nCompiling reports/maintain tracking information\nAnswering phone and email queries\nLiaising with suppliers and contractors\nSupporting the consultant team with equipment hire\nMaintenance of databases\nAssistance in cash flow activities including measures, applications for payment and invoices\nPerforming other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your line manager.\nQualifications and Experience\nTo be considered for this role, we are seeking candidates who are organised, numerate and keen to develop their administrative and financial support skills in a project environment. The candidate should have the following credentials:\nRelevant numerical / business diploma or similar;\nEssential Experience and characteristics\nWell organized with good administration skills\nDemonstrable experience in administration, preferably within purchase ledger or associated invoice / financial control\nExcellent IT skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint\nStrong digital literacy\nCommitment to customer service\nProfessional manner on the phone and during interaction with clients and staff\nAbility to work for a team of people and prioritise work\nExcellent numerical skills\nGrowth Mindset\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
