We take your career journey seriously and we’ll support you every step of the way.\nIn the role of BIM Coordinator, you will collaborate with a UK-wide team of engineers to deliver national and international projects spanning from small to very large in scale. Our project portfolio encompasses a variety of sectors, with a significant portion of our current workload concentrated in the Defence & Central Government, industrial, manufacturing, and technology sectors.\nWe are committed to supporting your personal development and career progression. You will have the opportunity to be mentored by industry-recognised Technical Leaders, who will share their expertise and ensure that your training provides you with the best possible foundation for success.\nRole accountabilities:\nDevelop effective working relationships with the Project Manager and with the client to ensure there is effective communication of progress and changes, as well as the resolution of issues.\nManage the BIM process supported by the necessary tools in large scale projects, including multi-stakeholders\nProvide input to the development of the companies BIM policies and strategies related to BIM\nImplement and ensure compliance with companies BIM policies and strategies within the team\nSupport the BIM Lead in adapting and refining strategies related to information management, quality assurance, process optimization, and HR management to facilitate effective BIM implementation.\nEnsure compliance with Arcadis drafting and BIM standards and national drafting and BIM standards throughout all projects\nContinuous review of the optimal BIM related software and develop business cases for new investments\nQualifications & Experience:\nProven experience leading project delivery in a BIM environment.\nFamiliarity with implementing BIM accreditation/certification (ISO 19650) in a business setting.\nExperience establishing and managing ISO 19650-compliant processes on projects.\nAbility to train and support team members in BIM processes, protocols, and tools.\nCapable of delivering work on time and within budget with minimal supervision.\nExperience in BIM coordination and management, including running coordination workshops to improve model quality.\nUp-to-date knowledge of industry standards.\nProficient in key desktop applications, especially Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)).\nSkilled in using software for basic engineering problem-solving.\nExperience with BIM model federation, validation, quality audits, and clash detection using tools such as Navisworks Manage and Solibri Model Checker.\nPrior experience in design, drafting, modelling, and visualisation, including creating and editing BIM models.\nAbility to manage competing demands and demonstrate resilience.\nExperience implementing and managing Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as ACC and Bentley ProjectWise.\nSelf-motivated to develop and implement strategies, able to take responsibility and prioritise duties\nExperience in supporting and implementing digital innovation. \nExperience of NBS BIM Toolkit and Uniclassification\nExperience of information exchange formats such as COBie\nKnowledge of Dynamo, script writing skills desirable\nExperience of 4D/5D BIM applications and process would be useful.\nHave a Degree and/or qualification in a relevant technical subject including elements of Modelling (HND/HNC or equivalent)\nHave achieved Engineering Technician status or equivalent through a recognised professional institution and may be looking to convert this to Incorporated status\nHave substantial relevant (production) experience in design, drafting or engineering and BIM\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
