You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions and contribute to the future of the UK's rail network.\nRole AccountabilitiesDeliver civil and structural design activities across rail and infrastructure projects.\nPrepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and technical documentation.\nWork within BIM and 3D design environments, including Revit, Civil 3D and AECOSim.\nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop coordinated engineering solutions.\nSupport delivery against programme, budget and quality requirements.\nUndertake site visits and surveys as required.\nBuild strong relationships with clients, colleagues and project stakeholders.\nContribute to a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture.\nContinue developing technical and professional skills through mentoring and project experience.\n Qualifications & ExperienceMaster's degree in Civil Engineering.\nMembership of ICE or IStructE (Graduate, Associate or equivalent) and actively working towards Chartered Engineer status.\n\nExperience in bridge and/or structural design, ideally within a consultancy environment.\nExposure to the rail sector would be advantageous.\nExperience using civil engineering design software to produce technical deliverables.\nUnderstanding of BIM principles and working within a Common Data Environment.\nEligibility to work in the UK on a long-term basis, with the flexibility to travel occasionally within the UK.\n\nReady to Apply?\nIf you're looking to grow your bridge engineering career and work on impactful rail projects within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
