Project Management Consultancy team supporting the delivery of a large-scale data center project in Luxembourg.\nThe Construction Manager will play a key role in overseeing the onsite delivery of the project, from the pre-construction and design review phases through construction, commissioning readiness and final handover.\nYou will act as a senior onsite representative, coordinating multiple EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that civil, structural, architectural and MEP works are delivered safely, on schedule and in line with the required quality standards.\nPrevious experience in large-scale data center, pharmaceutical or other complex industrial construction environments is strongly preferred.\nKey responsibilities Design & Pre-construction\nReview IFC drawings and technical specifications, identifying potential constructability issues, risks and required design clarifications.\nWork closely with design and engineering teams to support the preparation of Inquiry Packages for different EPC lots.\nCoordinate with technical teams to resolve technical issues and manage design changes during construction.\nProvide input on construction methodologies, temporary works and site logistics to optimise project delivery.\nEnsure compliance with applicable Luxembourg regulations, permits and project requirements.\nConstruction Management & Coordination\nLead and coordinate onsite construction activities across civil, structural, architectural and MEP disciplines.\nManage interfaces between multiple EPC contractors, subcontractors and specialist packages.\nLead or participate in regular multidisciplinary coordination and interface meetings.\nSupport BIM coordination and the resolution of clashes that could impact construction sequencing.\nEnsure appropriate coordination with commissioning activities, utilities and other project interfaces.\nSite Execution\nOversee daily onsite activities and ensure that resources, materials and equipment are effectively coordinated.\nReview and approve contractor method statements, risk assessments and relevant construction plans.\nMonitor quality through inspections, testing, hold points and non-conformance management.\nConduct regular site walkthroughs, progress reviews and safety inspections.\nEnsure that construction changes and as-built conditions are properly documented.\nPlanning & Project Delivery\nWork closely with the Lead Scheduler to maintain and monitor the detailed construction programme and its integration into the overall master schedule.\nMonitor progress against key construction and commissioning milestones.\nIdentify potential delays and construction risks and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.\nSupport site logistics planning and ensure critical activities can progress efficiently.\nLead construction handover activities through Facility Ready, commissioning readiness and operational turnover.\nStakeholder Management\nAct as a key onsite interface between the PMC team, contractors and client representatives.\nProvide clear visibility on construction progress, risks and key challenges.\nCoordinate site inspections, walkthroughs and construction progress meetings.\nLiaise where required with local authorities, utility providers and other external stakeholders.\nEnsure construction activities are aligned with contractual and project delivery requirements.\nQuality, HSE & Risk Management\nEnsure implementation of project QA/QC procedures and quality plans.\nIdentify construction risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.\nMonitor environmental and site-control requirements.\nEnsure temporary works and construction activities are carried out according to demanding safety and quality standards.\nTeam Leadership\nLead the onsite PMC construction team, including site engineers, supervisors, HSE professionals and quality inspectors.\nPromote effective collaboration between construction, commissioning, commercial, engineering and document control teams.\nSupport issue resolution and maintain a proactive, delivery-focused site environment.\nOversee construction closeout, including punch-list management, documentation and final acceptance.\nYour profile\nMaster’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.\nMinimum 12 years of experience in large-scale industrial, mission-critical or hyperscale data center construction projects.\nAt least 5 years of experience in a senior Construction Management position, ideally within a turnkey/EPC contractor environment.\nStrong experience coordinating multiple EPC contractors and multidisciplinary construction packages.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex site logistics and fast-track construction programmes.\nExperience in data centers, pharmaceutical facilities or similarly complex industrial environments is strongly preferred.\nKnowledge of Luxembourg construction regulations, permitting processes and environmental requirements is highly desirable.\nFamiliarity with Primavera P6, BIM coordination and project management tools.\nStrong leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.\nStrong understanding of HSE, QA/QC and construction risk management.\nFluent English is required.
