Work closely with our Finance Controllers to ensure accurate reporting of performance, minimise working capital and escalate risks identified.\nDirect Reports: Project Accounting Specialists , Project Finance Analyst\nWorking Relationships & Contacts:\nProject Managers & Business Directors - day to day support\nCredit Control - liaising and supporting for cash collection.\nAccounts Payable / Procurement - liaising and supporting for timely payment of suppliers.\nProject Finance - collaboration and knowledge sharing\nFinancial Accounting team \nManagement Reporting team\nRole accountabilities:\nProvide effective management to engage, motivate and develop all direct reports\nBuild trusted relationships with Business Directors to ensure appropriate quality and service\nDrive working capital improvements through timely billing, proactive support for cash collection, and close collaboration with Credit Control and operational teams to resolve issues quickly.\nTrain Project Managers on Oracle and support where required\nAdvise Project Managers on efficient project set-up structures, ensuring revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS \nIdentify continuous improvement and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across the wider finance team\nSupport Project Managers to reforecast projects as required; identify and challenge project performance changes to drive accuracy of month end reporting\nSupport on project reviews as required; report any risks identified to management\nLead robust project forecasting and review cycles, challenging assumptions and ensuring movements in forecast and backlog are understood, realistic, and well supported.\nUse financial and operational insight to challenge performance, improve predictability, and support stronger commercial outcomes.\nSupport Business Partners interpret month end results; review and analyse P&L results including multiplier, FB and indirect costs.\nSupport Business Partners with the business planning & estimate process\nProvide insightful management information to Business Directors / Operations Directors\nComply with Arcadis Way policies and procedures\nDimensions of The Role:\nResponsible for delivering timely & high quality financial support to the business\nActs as a key finance contact and trusted business partner for Business Directors\nWork collaboratively with other Finance Managers & Finance Business Partners to support the wider business and drive continuous improvement\nSome ad-hoc travel across UK locations will be required\nQualifications & Experience:\nFully Qualified accounting qualification or equivalent by experience\nAbility to organise, motivate and develop a team\nRelevant experience of working in a medium/large organisation\nExcel and ERP to a medium proficiency\nAttention to detail and consistent high standards\nGood inter-personal and communication skills\nExcellent time management skills\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
