This position will require travel.\nRole accountabilities:\nBe responsible for the maintenance and inspection of provided equipment\nFollow instructions from supervision on site and carry out tasks as instructed with safety in mind\nComplete heavy equipment operations in a variety of weather conditions\nOperate equipment in a professional and safe manner - Operators will be required to complete a competency test for knowledge of equipment, inspection, maintenance and operation\nDemonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless service\nMust be willing to travel to project sites that may include out of town projects. (100% travel)\nStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance (inspections, greasing, fueling)\nStrong ability to learn quickly, analyze information, and problem solve\nBe able to take instructions from supervision on site and carry out tasks as instructed unsupervised with safety in mind\nAbility to shovel and carry materials up to 50 lbs\nA willingness to occasionally work long hours, atypical hours or weekends \nQualifications & Experience:\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ years experience with heavy construction equipment \nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious experience on environmental construction sites\nPrevious experience traveling for work\n40 hour HAZWOPER certified\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
