With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.\nRole description:\nArcadis is seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Specialist to contribute to the delivery of geotechnical, geological, and hydrogeological projects across the transportation, infrastructure, mining, dams, tunnels, marine, water, and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for geotechnical investigations, analyses, design, construction support, and technical reporting while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients. The role offers opportunities to further develop technical expertise, contribute to project execution and client relationships, and assume increasing technical and project leadership responsibilities.\nRole accountabilities:\nThe successful candidate will contribute to and execute geotechnical investigations, assessments, analyses, and design assignments involving foundations, retaining structures, embankments, earthworks, tunnels, excavations, dams, tailings facilities, marine works, and groundwater systems. Plan and coordinate field investigation programs; interpret soil, rock, groundwater, laboratory, and instrumentation data; and develop geotechnical design parameters and engineering recommendations. Perform geotechnical analyses including slope stability, seepage, settlement, dewatering, seismic, liquefaction, and soil-structure interaction assessments using industry-standard software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, and Rocscience. Prepare technical reports, design memoranda, engineering calculations, specifications, and construction support documentation while contributing to quality assurance reviews, risk assessments, proposal development, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, client coordination, and mentoring of junior staff. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position.
