You will lead the delivery of complex rail infrastructure projects, including bridge replacement, station and depot schemes, working as part of multidisciplinary teams across the business.\nWith a strong reputation for delivering some of the UK's most prestigious infrastructure projects, including Washwood Heath Depot for HS2, MetroWest Phase 1b and CP7 Framework projects, we offer the opportunity to work on high-profile rail programmes while also contributing across housing and development, local authority, building structures and education sectors.\nRole Accountabilities\nLead the delivery of civil and structural engineering design projects.\nProvide technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.\nUndertake and oversee interdisciplinary design reviews and verification activities.\nManage the production and quality assurance of engineering analysis and design deliverables.\nCoordinate survey requirements and their integration into project delivery.\nIdentify and manage design risks throughout the project lifecycle.\nSupport Project Directors and Project Managers in the successful delivery of projects.\nQualifications & Experience\nChartered Engineer status with ICE or IStructE.\nMaster's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.\nSignificant civil and/or structural design experience on infrastructure projects.\nExperience leading the delivery of complex engineering projects.\nStrong experience using industry-standard analysis and design software and applying engineering judgement to technical challenges.\nExperience managing design risks and undertaking design assurance activities.\nRail sector experience, including stations, depots, bridges or other rail infrastructure projects, would be advantageous.\nCRE experience, or a desire to work towards CRE competency, would be beneficial.
