Working across a diverse portfolio of major highways infrastructure projects, you'll play a key role in helping clients manage cost, commercial risk and project performance throughout the project lifecycle.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware cost professional who enjoys working collaboratively, building strong client relationships and contributing to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure programmes.\nRole accountabilities:\nAs part of our growing Mobility Commercial Management team, you'll support the delivery of cost management services across a range of highways projects and programmes.\nYou'll be responsible for managing your own project workstreams or supporting larger commissions, providing robust commercial insight and helping clients make informed decisions.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nPreparing and maintaining cost plans, budgets, estimates and commercial reports.\nMonitoring project costs, forecasting expenditure and analysing variances.\nSupporting the management of small to medium-sized commissions and key elements of larger projects.\nIdentifying commercial risks, issues and opportunities throughout project delivery.\nWorking closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.\nProviding cost and commercial advice in line with established governance and compliance processes.\nSupporting continuous improvement and helping drive innovation across cost management delivery.\nAttending project and site meetings, building strong relationships with stakeholders and project partners.\nQualifications & Experience:\nWe're interested in hearing from candidates who have experience within infrastructure, transport or construction environments and are looking to grow their career within a leading consultancy.\nYou'll bring:\nA minimum of 5 years' experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.\nExperience working on infrastructure, highways, transportation or aviation projects.\nStrong knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts, including compensation events and contract administration.\nThe ability to analyse commercial information and produce accurate cost and reporting outputs.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nA proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.\nA sound understanding of construction delivery and cost management methodologies.\nA degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.\nProgress towards, or achievement of, a professional qualification such as MRICS.\nA CSCS card or willingness to obtain one.\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
