With the power of many curious minds, together we can continue to solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.\nRole Description\nArcadis is seeking a Project Manager with at least five (5) years of experience supporting or managing educational facility, municipal, or other vertical construction projects. The successful candidate will coordinate project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and stakeholder engagement while working with senior project leaders, clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.\nThe ideal candidate is a proactive and organized project management professional with practical experience across planning, design, procurement, construction, occupancy, and closeout. This position is remote-based and will primarily support client projects throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area while also supporting educational and municipal projects in other regions of Arizona as business needs require. Regular travel to project sites, client meetings, and stakeholder engagements throughout Arizona is expected.\nRole Accountabilities\nSupport and manage projects or assigned workstreams of varying size and complexity under the direction of senior project leadership, as appropriate.\nAssist with developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, action logs, and performance information.\nMonitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements, and promptly communicate potential variances or concerns.\nIdentify project risks and issues, support the development of mitigation strategies, and elevate significant matters when required.\nCoordinate activities among clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.\nSupport planning, design development, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, occupancy, and closeout activities.\nFacilitate or support project meetings, prepare meeting notes and status reports, track action items, and maintain accurate project documentation.\nReview consultant and contractor deliverables, schedules, cost information, change requests, requests for information (RFIs), and other project documentation within the assigned level of responsibility.\nSupport contract administration, procurement activities, invoice review, and compliance with applicable contract requirements, regulations, and standards.\nAnalyze project information and provide practical recommendations to support project decisions and improve delivery outcomes.\nBuild effective working relationships and maintain clear communication with project teams and stakeholders.\nPromote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nSupport community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with public agencies and local jurisdictions as required.\nQualifications & Experience Required Qualifications\nMinimum five (5) years of experience in project management, construction management, program management, or capital project delivery.\nExperience supporting or managing vertical construction projects through one or more phases of planning, design, construction, occupancy, or closeout.\nExperience coordinating project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, and stakeholder activities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, track actions, communicate issues, and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.\nWorking knowledge of construction documentation, project controls, contract administration, or procurement processes.\nStrong verbal and written communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility and willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings throughout Arizona as required.\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future. A degree is preferred but not required, and equivalent combinations of education, certifications, military experience, and relevant professional experience will be considered.\nExperience supporting educational facility, K-12, higher education, or municipal capital improvement projects.\nExperience working as part of an Owner’s Representative, Program Management, Construction Management, design, contractor, or public-sector project team.\nFamiliarity with public-sector procurement, contract administration, and capital project delivery processes.\nExposure to alternative project delivery methods, including CMAR and Design-Build.\nFamiliarity with federal, state, and local requirements applicable to public construction projects.\nExperience supporting public meetings, stakeholder engagement, or community outreach activities.\nWorking knowledge of one or more project management and construction tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, or e-Builder.\nPMP, CAPM, CCM, or another relevant professional certification is a plus.\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
