This is an opportunity to work with leading clients, influence project outcomes and play a key role in delivering complex schemes that create a lasting impact.\nAs a Senior Cost Consultant, you will lead the delivery of commercial and cost management services across the full project lifecycle. You'll work closely with clients and project teams, providing strategic advice, driving project performance and ensuring successful outcomes in terms of cost, quality and value.\nRole accountabilities:\nLeading, coaching, and developing team members to enhance cost management service delivery in the rail sector.\nCreating project costings and budgets for rail projects, managing finances to achieve profit and budgetary targets.\nLeading and managing cost management assignments, ensuring delivery standards meet client expectations.\nDemonstrating understanding of client objectives within the rail sector, specifically regarding cost management.\nMonitoring team performance and ensuring compliance with organizational policies related to cost control.\nAssuring compliance with contracts concerning project delivery parameters and cost management.\nAnalysing complex cost data and providing recommendations for project decision-making.\nSupporting the development of current cost and commercial management systems tailored to rail projects.\nDriving innovation in cost management to improve services and increase team contribution.\nBuilding valued relationships with senior clients and stakeholders for client satisfaction and business opportunities in the rail sector.\nQualifications & Experience:\nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.\nChartered status or working towards a recognised professional qualification.\nExtensive experience delivering cost and commercial management services on major rail or infrastructure projects.\nStrong knowledge of the full project lifecycle, from business case through to project completion.\nExperience working within complex stakeholder environments, ideally including HS2 and other major rail programmes.\nProven leadership, communication and client management skills.\nCSCS card holder or able to obtain one.\nWhy Arcadis?\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
